Role Purpose
As the COO you will play a pivotal role in the development and management of our Business (IoT agtech and business intelligence solutions). This position offers a unique opportunity to drive the growth and success of our business.
The COO will develop and iterate on a strategy that oversees all aspects of business from solution positioning from development, presales through to operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring technological advancement, operational efficiency and business process improvements.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, aligning with the company’s overall goals and market demands.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings.
- Product Development: Lead Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IoT Engineering, Agriculture Research, Software and Data Science, Operations and Business Development to define solution requirements, prioritize feature development, and oversee the solution development lifecycle and mitigate problems.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for agtech solutions, including pricing, positioning, and marketing plans to maximize service adoption and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Solution Documentation: Overseas, create and maintain comprehensive service documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes, to ensure clear communication and user support.
- Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of our human resources, products and services, regularly reporting on product performance and recommending improvements.
- Sales enablement Together with business development teams, create effective sales collateral, marketing materials, and campaigns to promote our solutions.
- Coordinating technology vision and innovation strategy development
- Managing research collaboration, sourcing and procurement activities
Functional and Technical Skills
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in product management
- Understanding of IoT, software or other areas of engineering
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- 5+ years of experience in relevant areas
- Familiarity with SaaS or PaaS business models.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration.
- Strong network within business community.
- Understanding of data analytics and machine learning.
